“Southampton” is a beautifully made traditional French Provincial / Hamptons Style library modular bookcase with ladder in a satin white finish (not shabby) that will suit both a traditional French Provincial style or a modern Hampton style interior.

This Hamptons style modular bookcase design consists of individual “bays” ranging from 93cm to 187cm wide, that can be put side by side to create larger bookcases that are 2m, 3m, 4m, etc wide, so that you can customise it to suit the size of your room.

This modular design is also suitable for homes where there is not is enough space to manoeuvre a large bookcase up stairs, around narrow hallways, or tight spots in the house.

Each standard bay has a top bookshelf with 3 removable shelves (80cm wide each, adjustable in height) and a bottom cabinet with a drawer and doors that open to reveal a fixed shelf inside. There is 22cm height below and above the fixed shelf.

The middle bays are available in wider sizes to accommodate 65″ and 75″ TVs. These sections don’t have the ladder rail. They have a bottom cabinet that features 3 larger drawers with metal runners/sliders.

The bookcase has a hardwood frame to give it strength, with MDF panels which are more resistant to warping with changes in temperature and humidity.

This white French Provincial / Hamptons Style bookcase with ladder can also be used as a bookshelf, display cabinet or for a stylish shop fit out.

• Middle 162cm: 162cm wide x 44cm deep x 230cm high. Shelf opening is 149cm wide and suits 65″ TVs.
• Middle 187cm: 187cm wide x 44cm deep x 230cm high. Shelf opening is 174cm wide and suits 75″ TVs.

We use professional removalists to deliver this beautiful bookcase to you. They will call you prior to delivery to ensure you are home. The standard shipping cost is for ground floor delivery only and does not include assembly. Assembly involves lifting the top bookshelf onto the bottom cabinet, which requires two very strong people. As with all large and heavy pieces of furniture, please secure this bookcase to your wall once you’ve set it up for safety reasons.
